Five Stars

Really nice case, with a cool kickstand feature.

Inside the Amazon box, this item was packaged in a clear-fronted, retail style resealable plastic packet. Despite the very reflective and metallic appearance, this case feels very rubberised and soft. The gaps between the “metal” weaves are clear silicone style plastic, and sort of give away the nature of the material.

The rubber is very soft and pliable, so it slips nicely onto your phone and holds really well. All the ports are there, with cutouts and button covers all in the right place, nothing is difficult to get to, even the mute button.

All corners and sides are perfectly protected, and there’s a slight protrusion at the front to protect your screen if laid face down. The lightning cable fits perfectly through the hole in the case to the port, but it should be noted that if you use a 30-pin to lightning adapter, you’ll need to remove the case as the bottom is fully protected and the adapter, whilst fitting, just won’t work.

The colour is very close to a rose gold iPhone, and it really looks the part when wrapped around one of those. The “weave” at the back hides a strip that can be pulled out in a semi-rigid loop. This loop can either be used to hold the phone on a finger for security, or as a kickstand, which means you can nicely stand your phone at a good angle in portrait mode, and it looks really cool.

This is clearly a protective case too, with all corners and edges being well protected. Use a screen protector with it, but the rest of hour phone shouldn’t be scratched or damaged, no matter what you do to it.

This is a really cool looking case, with a really novel feature, and I can definitely recommend it.
