Great, solid, quality press, with a brilliant peeler!

This item arrived in an attractive, retail style brown cardboard box. The seller has printed nice touches on the box, with little “thank you” notes on flaps etc. There’s also a nice “Thank you” note inside. Little touches like this really add to the experience of buying a product. Inside the box, the peeler and press were both sealed in protective bags.

The first thing to be used was the peeler. I’ve never come across these before, but it was so simple – just cut off the ends of the clove, roll it a couple of times in the peeler and it’s completely peeled – awesome. I didn’t realise that peeling garlic could be anything but annoying – now it’s cool!

Bestfire Speaker Bulb Review

Five Stars

Brilliant little bit of kit, great sound and cool lighting!

This item arrived in its own very attractive and practical retail packaging, inside a polythene wrapper in a solid, protective plain brown cardboard box. The packaging was solid enough to take a lot of hammer, yet hold the bulb securely and protect it against damage, whilst showing off the item in all its glory.

Sliding off the cardboard wrap at the bottom of the package gave access to a couple of bits of tape. Pulling those off allowed the clear plastic lid to be lifted off, and meaning the bulb could be easily lifted out. Under the bulb holder was a nice glossy coloured printed set of instructions.

VicTop Mini Dehumidifier Review

Five Stars

Very quiet little unit on low power, but not exactly mini!

This item arrived in a large, attractively printed retail box, declaring a mini dehumidifier was inside. I guess it’s mini in the same way a current BMW Mini One is mini – the box stands 34cm high by 21cm wide, with the unit itself being 30cm high by 19cm wide. Inside the box the unit was held securely with cardboard templates, on top of a decent instruction manual and an external power adapter.

The unit has a power socket at the back into which you plug the adapter, which has a sensibly long lead. After powering on via the touch button, you can hear the gentle fan. Pressing the touch sensitive speed button swaps between the three variable strengths of the fan. The fan is rather quiet, and at the lowest setting I measured it just above background level at 46.1dBA right next to the unit, with even the highest power only being 50.5dBA.
